• Leaderboard Initials/Name: The custom name/initials you voluntarily submit upon achieving a high score.
• Game Score: Your final numeric score.
• Selected Character: The 8-bit avatar choice linked to your leaderboard submission.

2. How We Use Your Data

Your submitted initials, score, and selected avatar are used exclusively to display rankings on the global Hall of Fame. We do not collect emails, phone numbers, or actual names, and we never sell or share your data with third parties.

3. Cookies & Local Storage

We do not use tracking or marketing cookies. We use the browser's localStorage solely to persist your character progression (saving unlocked avatars such as the Villain archetype) so that you do not lose your unlocks when reloading the page.

4. Infrastructure & Hosting

Our database is powered securely by Upstash Redis, and our website is hosted on Vercel. No analytics trackers or advertising networks are loaded on this site.

5. Data Retention & Erasure

High scores are retained indefinitely to keep the leaderboard active. If you would like your initials or score removed from the Hall of Fame, please contact the administrators and we will purge your entry immediately.
